Music Theory lessons
From about grade one onward, students need to cover more music theory to assist their musical reading and writing fluency, their understanding of chord formations and scales, and song writing (ie, learning the language and syntax of music).
To make this accessible for families we offer an affordable Music Theory group lesson (numbers permitting), where we teach music literacy in a small group, making it engaging and enjoyable. This also makes a great support for students doing music in high school.
Students taking piano or voice lessons with us can add this small group music theory class to their lesson package and receive a significant discount on theory/musicianship lessons.
One on one Music Theory lessons are also available. Please ask about this when you inquire with us
